The location in Oakhill is owned and worked by John and Teresa Shinski, with their two sons John F. & Dusty. We have owned this location for 10 years. John and I are from Austin. After many years of traveling across the country for John's career we are thrilled to be back home.
John's career started in Austin, Texas in 1974. After graduating from U.T.,he began his career with Bonanza Steak House off Ben White Blvd. He has since went on to work for Burger King where he managed the highest volume Burger King in the country at the time, located in Chicago. He was vice-president for Trailways Food Service in Dallas. His career has taken him to Salt Lake City, Dallas, Chicago ,San Diego, Houston, Laredo, Huntsville, Conroe. His career was based on his reputation for taking low volume stores and turning them high profit, which he has done successfully for 30 years.
Come by our location at 7101 Hwy 71 West in Austin,Texas 78735 ( in Oakhill @ the Y) and eat where the locals and celebrities eat. We have the best fried chicken in town.
